this vase captures a lot of my feelings and hardships on trying to live a life in the face of climate change. I do what I can. I ride my bike. I forage for my food, but sometimes the sun is too hot and the drivers too aggressive. You can get hit on your bike and then all the work is for nothing. I find it hard to put in so much effort to care for the earth, but there are moments of peace and reprieve in it that are found in this vase too.  

while, this piece does have one handle crack- I have repaired it with real gold glaze. It is a gold paint that once fired melts the gold into a beautiful luster.
